Pete,

Yes, Durham's is pale yellow, almost like natural pine, and so it doesn't really color match with cedar, etc.

Durham's is powdered wood filler you mix with water. A similar product is made by UGL brand...it comes in a box. Look in the paint/stain/wood filler area of your favorite store. UGL is almost identical to Durham's. I'm sure there are other brands that mix with water...ask around.
