: The cloth is not bunched just looks like grain run out on wood. It is about
: 3"x6" every 14" or so. Looks like a flaw when the cloth was
: made. There are gaps in the weave but everything is flat. If the cloth
: wets out invisible then it would dissapear. If the cloth shows ever so

I can only comment by what I've seen, but there is a pattern visible after your first wet-out coat, and you may see the objectionable areas in that coat. But, after a couple of fill coats, it should be totally invisible. On the inside, you would probably see it if you only fill the weave to a textured finish. But it would not be as visible with all the stuff going on in the cockpit ( ie; seat, thigh braces, footbraces and whatever drybags or pouches you may have in there. Myself, I don't think I'd have any problem using it, but then, I have yet to glass anything. Only speaking from what I've seen and read. Still think the best course would be to give it a sample try.

Are you planning on a double layer on the outside of the hull? That would take care of any strength issues, ( if there are any ) and probably any visibility issues as well.
