Shhhhh, Roger, we're trying to tout this boat as being the easiest and fastest to build. Shucks!! Actually, I'm looking forward to getting it off and then putting it back on when I skin it. I took extra care to relieve the forms for a straight up release and also was VERY careful not to get any glue on the forms. That's why I haven't glued the floors next to the forms, but will do them one at a time when the boat is free of the forms.

That is one of the things I would caution others to do is either glue them after removal from the forms, or like I will do on the next one, cut a spacer piece of plywood and leave about 1/2" between the forms and the floors. I didn't screw any of the stringers, chines or gunwales to the forms, but rather used plummers tape to clamp them in place. Tomorrow, I hope, I will be taking the screws out of the plummers tape and hopefully releasing the frame " clean ".

My whole idea of no screws into the forms and the relief cuts was to prevent the attachment of the forms and hopefully I can reuse them a few times.

Yeh, I'm going with the Linseed oil mix for covering and will consider the anti-fungal additive spoken of in the book.
