I'm finally putting strips on the boat. My approach is characteristically low tech. I'm stapling into scrap strips (top strip) and wrapping clothes line for downward pressure... using a typical wedge system to hold the strips against the form (right). It seems like it's working pretty well so far. I put strip #3 in place tonight. Strip #4 and #5 will be the problematic accent pattern which I will start to glue up tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed.
