I am considering not installing hatches in the deck of the Guillemot I’m building. The boat will not be used for camping trips. There would be a stern bulkhead with a hatch installed in it and a float bag for the bow.
I would like to know how difficult it is to join the hull and deck with no hatches.
Also, if I change my mind about hatches later on, is it a much of a problem to install hatches in a finished boat.
