I would agree. I just bought mine a week ago for the same purpose - inside of hull, and like it so far. Haven't used it on the hull inside yet though....

: of tools and files to try to fair it better. None worked. I pick up the
: curved blade that goes to the handle and sharpened it real good and
: started scraping. It was like a plane. Long curly shavings came off and in
: less then a hour I had enought to probably fill a five gallon bucket. What
