: Well I just broke down and bought a new Milwaukee jig saw and was wondering
: what blade to use to cut out the flush mount hatches? I bought a couple
: blades (32 tooth Makita NO B-24) but they leave about a 1/16" cut. It
: uses the bayonet style blades. Any suggestions on a type of blade to get
: the thinner cut?
: Thanks
: Steve
Hi Steve, I was a little nervous about cutting the hatches. I went to Home Depot and bought a pair of Swiss jig saw blades. (I thought if it is swiss it must be good) And they were. I just have an old Sears jig saw. It was easy as pie and the holes came out great. I guess the secret is a good sharp blade. Good luck, Gisela.
