There's a local fellow that does fantastic repairs on glass boats that has a heinous allergic reaction to epoxy. He works with vinylester resin and is presently starting a Mill Creek 15 using vinylester. Cost wise a person might as well go to epoxy at that point but for those with reactions to epoxy this might be a reasonable compromise.
