I think it is good, but I'm not the expert. I just followed the instructions in a small paperbound book I bought, and used what was then described as musical instrument grade wood from Craftsman Wood Service in Illinois somewhere.

At the time I wasn't either (still not really). But I wanted to learn and it was the cheapest way to get something that was nice looking. Guess it's sort of like why we build wood kayaks . (so are we now sort of on topic?)

Could be fun, and with Spidey's and Dean's flutes, we could put together quite a musical paddling outing. Just need to get Rehd to bake us a cake for the occasion and maybe Julie to bring the Moose Drool . Maybe we could hold it somewhere in North Dakota, halfway from everybody.
