But those Guzzlers are designed with like 3' of suction head. In a kayak mounting situation, you probably have 3" of suction head.

: a weaker spring will need more time to fill the pump.
: the extra time might be critical on rough seas, or might be very
: annoying on calm seas when you want to get rid of the water quick.
