Hi Mike,

Generally, what you do on the top edge is for looks. The bottom edge holds on the skirt. I usually just take the sharp edge off the bottom corner. Any thing rounder than about a 1/8" radius invites the spray skirt popping off too easily. Don't worry about wearinga hole in the skirt. It doesn't move around that much over the edge (if it fits right).
