I was also interested in the response from some of our more experienced folk. My buddy Dave who is building a Chespeake 17LT bought enough Interlux Goldspar Clear One Part Polyurethane Varnish for both our boats the product is supposed to be clear, hard and durable, I was going to use Captains or Flagship varnish initially but now I already have the Interlux available. Has anybody used this type of finish? If so what was the result?
