I would like to thank all of you who responded to this post. You see I am not
a paddler and the boat I am building is not for me. The owner asked me about wether caned seates were approiate for a kayak? All your responses have helped.
I want to also thank Ross Liedy and Spidy for the additional information on the hatch seals. I sent in an order for One Oceans Building Manual late last week but I'm sure it will be two to three weeks before it arrives.
