I learned a long time ago from becoming involved in political and civic issues that it is unfortunatly best to just keep your mouth shut ! Honest people can disagree but that is not the issue. Often when some specific issue was discussed there was a lot of hot air and misinformation, but when objective facts were presented to prove some previoulsly stated postion to be totally incorrect .... That didn't stop the poeple who were for (or against) to change their position or even acknowledge the facts. And before you knew what was happening the facts were ingnored and the misinformation was even restated to 'support' their postion. It was clear that people are predisposed to supporting a postion and they don't let some facts get in their way of that and it is just a mess and a waste of time. And these were 'concrete' issues like budget dollars or accounting/allocation issues that were capaple of objective proof. So in this discussion which degenerated into basically 'What is Art?' it is clear it just would end up a 'pissin' contest and those aren't worth much even if one could do all the pissin' ..... And no one, even the president gets to do that. For myself I absolutly see your point, but based on my experience I only wonder why you bothered (you only got grief for your trouble).

Good Paddlin' Rob (noticed that one of your detractors couldn't even get your name right and called you 'Bob', it just shows how much some people are on the ball)
