First: Thanks to all who shared positive comments.
Second: Roger, the outriggers are still in the planning (?) stage but here's my thinking so far.
Take the nose form graph paper and flip it upside down on a new sheet.
Trace it.
Make a baby strongback so that the total length is 36" x 6".
Strip 2 circles.
With the strong curve on both ends, I can be pushed out from shore and not stress the wood by trying to push it under. Besides, I think it will look neat.
If I don't like the final shape, I can always sell them on ebay as Barbie kayaks.
And finally: The hull is finished being stripped. I am going to sand and plane til my arms fall off today. I also have lots of new pics to post to the site. Probably tomorrow morning.
