: off with soap and water after use.

I had a very similar problem with masking tape over epoxy, finally used eucalyptus oil - an old wives tale thats turns out to be true, followed by some warm soapy water to ensure that the oil was removed. There are some exotic chemicals around as well. Rule of thumb for me was dont leave tape on for more than a few days.
