Hi Tom,

I started around the middle of last October and using a rough average of the time I spend on it each day I have about 500 hours in it and still a-ways to go. I think the boat will nicely hold my camping gear but I don't recommend designing your own boat as I did. The deck had a lot of built in stresses that caused the ends to rise up and the sides to really curl more then I think they should have. I will post a picture later from setting in the boat and looking forward which will really show the severe curves the strips had to glued in at.
