That's quite a deal for a seat!
If you're going to use this in your kayak, I suggest that you cut the seat back down so it's below the coaming. Otherwise you'll have a really tough time getting back in the boat if you have to wet exit.
For that matter, you could cut the back off except for the bottom 2" or so and install a backband.
