Hi Chuck,
I have probably championed using instant glues as much as anyone on the board. But just in special situation and not to build a whole boat. I also use the spray accelerator which makes the so called instant glue really set up instantly. I find it a very handy tool for me and am always finding new uses for it. I bought one 2 OZ bottle THICK, of "USA GOLD CA GLUE" $8.99, and one 2 OZ spray bottle of "USA GOLD Q-SHOT ACCERLERATOR" for $4.99 at "www.woodcraft.com" This amount has lasted me for one boat as I use it. I have used it as a kind of tack weld to hold things in place while the regular glue dried, in places I couldn't get a clamp into.
