Also, I think its best if you glass it well on both sides where it attaches to the coaming if you plan on rolling. I broke one loose last week while practicing, I had only glassed on the inside underneath and not on the face. I later added glass to the face but it still seems to be a high stress area and I'm going to add another brace near the bottom of the cheekplate and secure it to the hull.
