Fiddlehead canoe?

Feeling a little sheepish here, My brother is giving me a fiddlehead canoe to tide me over while I restore my old sof kayak. Good job he couldn't see my look of utter confusion over the phone while I thanked him. I couldn't find any photos online, can anyone tell me what to expect?
