Hi Bob, check out this month's issue of Wooden Boat Magazine. The featured builder, Robb White does something similar to what you're describing: If I remember the story correctly, he heats his shop to some ungodly temperature, then turns on the AC and saturates his boat with low viscosity epoxy. He claims that the resin is drawn throughout the wood and he has some very lightweight boats to show for it. I would check with some of the epoxy manufacturers. I think Raka and System Three have low viscosity products.
