Use your imagination. Decide what you want them to be like and design your own - use thicker stock and sculpt out a nice 3-D shape. I used 1.5" poplar, cut to rough shape, and sculpted it out with the heel of a belt sander. If you really want plans, the attached link has plans for a thwart/yoke - may not be what you want for a solo. I will try to send you a photo of mine via email - I need to develop an alternative to photopoint before I can post photos again.
