I have a full beard, varying between 1/2 and 1 inch long depending on my laziness quotient. I use a standard respirator and am pleased. I get slight smells but even with acetone it is very faint. When working with epoxy I can't smell anything but my wife claims she can smell it in the far reaches of the house. I think its pretty darn good with little leakage.
