: Hey Bill
: Got some sad news for you.... If you'd have sent it through the mail, I'd
: probably have it here in Fresno, Calif., but I'd reeeeaaaallllyyyy
: appreciate it. You know that!!
Ha! Ha! I'll remember that!
: just sorry that that sort of thing has to happen at all.
I made several complaint calls (especially after they shipped it back to Boise for the second time :-) and now it looks like it is just hours away from delivery!
: Checked you pics. and they look great!! Good to see you back on the
: "X" and about ready to splash it! Soon I hope. I will be very
: interested in getting a VERY close look at this one in P.T.. Hope you are
: bringing it!
Yes, it will be there.
: Been reading Robert Morris' book lately and enjoying it greatly. Also read
: the article in Sea Kayaker about the kids yak and would like to talk
: mixing up some of the ideas with your boat.
I need to pick that book up. G. Dyson's book should be in the shipment with the poly ...
: As you look back on this project, how would you rate it and would you, or do
: you, entertain thoughts of doing a similar project again? Maybe some Y's
: or Y nots? Will be interested in chatting with you in Aug.
I was really impressed with the whole project. It was pretty quick (well, would have been if I'd kept at it) and makes a nice, light boat. I'm definitely considering another one. Maybe another design, though. I like the Y designation!
: P.S. ( so, how ARE the strippers coming along? )
Slow. I've had way too many interuptions thus far. Don't know that they will be ready for PT as I'd hoped. We'll see.
Bill
