Water clean up brush cleaner will take care of the pine pitch droppings. I use it to remove them from the cars regularly. It doesn't effect their clearcoat or acylic finishes like a MEK based brush cleaner will. It might clean off your varnish so, as they say, try it on a concealed spot first!
