I'd like to invite you all to the "Buffalo HydroFest", to be held on Sunday, August 12th, 2001 in Buffalo, New York, USA. It's a free-to-the-public racing event and demo day, but you're more than welcome to participate in the ACA sanctioned racing for a small fee. We'll be running 100m Sprints, Slalom, 2km Criterium, Static Thrust, and Drag Race competitions in a small park lake downtown, which is the same venue the ASME Solar Splash hydrofoils will be using next month.

There'll be many watercycle manufacturers giving demo rides of their boats, and some very unique home-built craft, including my "LegShell" which is a 27' Olympus rowing shell I've converted to pedal-power. We'll be running the event concurrent with a free jazz festival at the Art Gallery across the street, there's a Shakespeare festival in the park that night, and it's just a short hop to Niagara Falls.
