: digress.... I finally finished an Opsrey triple. It took me 5 months to
: complete, but I worked 160 hours. It handles much better that I expected
: (my only other experience has been on rubber boats) and maybe I did not
: need to install the rudder.

I share your feelings as two of my friends ? are building Guillemot Expedition Singles in my shop while I construct my Osprey Triple.Makes me feel like duct tape and bondo.I am strongly considering ordering Pygmy's rudder kit. I am currently paddling a Necky Nootka Outfitter K2 which is a potential divorce boat without the use of the rudder.I am very interested to learn how your boat performs with a full compliment of crew.I am also relieved to see a more realistic construction time than that suggested by Pygmy.Fair winds and good paddling.
