Someone had also mentioned pulling the resins into the pump when applying the vacuum. I dont believe this is a problem when vacuum bagging kit plane parts (could be wrong). I also realized that I would have to figure out some way of drying the strips without them warping.any ideas on this problem. I think I'm going to call aircraft-spruce(a local company for kit plane builders) and see if they can answer some questions about vacuum bagging ,pumps and pressures.I don't think it would take as much pressure to [pull stain into wood as it would resin into the foam cores they use(again, could be wrong). Also vacuum bagging uses the bag to force the resin in as it shrinks, How might a vacuum chamber differ.
