I did a couple things that helped, the rudder spindle is in a hole that is lined with graphite/epoxy so it turns easily, the loop of line that adjusts for different peg positions has no slack, this hollow braid (vorlon,,klingon,,no spectra,,oh heck it's something) stuff is amazing , with a constrictor eye splice it holds, yeah the lack of throw is limiting, but the rudder can go almost 40degrees to either side, who needs that much rudder anyway?
