Caribou as a S&G Design

In my opinion, the lines of the Caribou "S" kayak that Current Designs produces makes it a good candidate for a S&G boat. The literature on the company website suggests that the Caribou was originally a homebuilt design by Barry Buchanan. Does anyone in this forum know if there are plans for homebuilding the Caribou? Any information on this design or similar designs would be appreciated.
