I had that problem on my G3, but once I figured out how to avoid it, I've never had it again. Basically the resin is not completely saturating the glass. To solve this problem, I rub the resin into the glass with my gloved finger before I squeegee the excess off. I can see the pattern before I rub it, and I can see it disappear as I rub the resin in.
