As was the concensus, I stripped the cockpit recess, and will wait until after I have glassed the deck to put the coaming on.

Should I cut out the opening before or after I glass. My guess is that it will be a neater job if I wait until it is glassed, and the little pieces stuck together will hold much better after the glass.
