Pete,
Not that I know of, but it sure doesn't mean it shouldn't be tried. Lots of folks have built boats on this KBBS that become testbeds for new ideas. Just look at John's self righting kayak, Leidy's lids, Kents inlays Greeenley's seats. I'd say try it out, take lots of pictures, and show us how its done. !RUSS
