Jealous of that ES you're building. More pics?
I use a double bastard flat file. Liked the name. It's a staight swipe trying to keep the bevel the same. Coarser file seems right because it only takes a couple of draws across and it leaves a kind of serrated edge . It's not fine work and nice curls come off if sharp. If it doesn't sharpen fast and easy it probably wouldn't get sharpened. You're lucky if the local Ace or whatever carries the replacement blades of various shapes. They make a couple which are a good radius for inside the hull. For planes and stuff get a wet stone. I thought I should look you up some day, I have a buddy in Whitney Point. What do you say?
