: When you start stripping using a stapleless method, how do you keep the first
: strip in position without using staples or nails. Is that strip held the
: same as the rest of the strips, with clamps or tape? Would blocks screwed
: to forms work to hold it? If I'm missing something obvious,let me know.

I made the first strip a sacrificial strip, stapled it to the forms (it was actually riddled with staple holes by the time I got a fair curve). Then I stripped the rest of the hull, replacing that first strip at the end.
