I knew I was going to take some heat about how dirty the truck was but I don't have may pics of the kayak scanned yet so this one had to do. The truck will be clean if it appears in another pic on this board I promise!

The design of the kayak is by Eric Schade (brother of Nick) who owns Shearwater Boats. www.shearwater-boats.com The kayak has been fun and realitivly painless to build. Eric has also been easy to get hold of by phone or email and has been very willing to spend the time to help with any questions I've had along the way. I guess you've noticed I'm impressed with the design and the designer.

While its not as fancy as the model from Laughing Loon that you are building, which is looking really good by the way, it has been a great first boat for me.

What is the expected launch date for your Baidarka? I'm interested in your thoughts as to how it performs, there may be one in my future.
