Brooks, sorry I didn't answer right away. I just now saw you post. I bought my chopped glass from Hamilton Marine catalog. It was real cheap for a quart which is way more then I could use. The chopped glass really mixes up in a mess and isn't smooth at all. But you can put a large radius on with it and it is rather ragged. But I went back later before it was set up and put a coat of thin epoxy over it which smoothed it out. I actually tucked the chopped glass epoxy mixture in with my hand before I went over it with a large radius stick. The advantage is this should be very strong.
