Hey Alan
The heat won't bother anything unless you pick some really wet wood. It may warp a bit as it dries out. But then, if it's that hot, I doubt you'll find any really wet wood. A little bit of bend won't hurt anything as You will be bending some of that wood around anyway. Just find yourself a 16" fan or two and you'll be fine. Be sure to use the offsets that Paul Jacobson printed out and not the ones in the book. You'll save a bundle on plywood. Or use it on the workbench or something. ( another set of forms.... for the next boat )
