I have been toying with the idea of constructing a two person sailing rig by joining a CLC 16LT and a Pygmy Arctic Tern in a sort of catamaran configuration, except that the sail and controls would be on the Pygmy and the CLC would serve as sort of an outrigger. I've researchd the idea some but have not found anything similar. What little knowledge of small boat sailing I have is limited to monohulls. Can anyone help me out by pointing me to some resources or by suggesting reasons why this may or may not work?
