Hi Daren,

I have a can of Helmsman hi-gloss urathane that I will probably use. I remember the discussions of urathane vs. varnish, as urathane dried faster and was tough while varnish was prettier but harder to apply and more expensive. And almost everyone used varnish. Have you compaired your urathane finished boat against the varnished ones and are you happy with it?
