Flash bulb? Try flares

It is getting harder and harder to find flashbulbs or flash cubes. I don`t think there are any cameras being made these days that take them. You may need to find a used camera that can set these things off.

Why not just get a flare gun? Flares are readily available at boat stores, last longer than a flash bulb, and come in colors.

If you remember flashbulbs then you remember the smell they made when they went off. It was the aroma of burning plastic that covered the bulb. These things get HOT. If you manage to find some, keep them away from your woodwork or you'll risk scorch marks.
