There is also a franchise called the Woodworkers Club. I conducted a three-hour seminar on the strip-building process in the Norwalk, Connecticut facility. Will do another this Fall.

These places are great, but I doubt that you would be able to build a canoe or kayak there because of the time invoved. They look for much shorter-term projects.
