I just dug up a wooden kayak from the basement that was built in 1970. I took it out onto the bay for the first time. I never was in kayak but had no trouble handling it.However it definetely needs a coat of something. There was a slight leak in the aft section of the kayak which may have been wood shrinkage.Could someone tell me what type of polyurethane or other type of product to use? The boat is in beautiful shape and I would like to use more often.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
