Hey John
Hang in there. It sounds to me like the cosmic karmic low extended out your way too. Its karma Clear and sunny here today so. Its got to be better in your neck of the woods too.
There are days when ya go into the shop and ya feel like you have just undone weeks worth of work. Hang in there. Your boat isn't lost yet, and you still have plenty of time to get her fixed and ready for your adventure with out cutting corners. A seperating seam is a hassle, but its farly easy to recover. With your new sander and a load straps she'll come together. I'm not sure I uderstand what you mean by curling tthe deck, but don't getthe matches out quite yet. With your talents and hy not attitude you'll have her in the water rightous yet.
If your like me the trip to the tool crib is 1.5 hours each way and by that time I'm chilled out and full of ideas and ready to go again. As one of my former work friends used to say sometimes you get the bear.....Sometimes the bear gets you.
HAng tough August will see you on the lake in that mighty pretty boat of yours Hope your having fun in the big city!
