Just a minor curve ball in the building process. While it may seem trivial compared to your frustrations, last night after varnishing my hull and admiring how well it came out for a change, I decided I was on a roll and would put a coat of epoxy on my aluet paddle I was hoping to try out next week. Well, I was brushing on the last stroke when the pin used to support it between two saw horses came loose causing it to drop on the floor in a poof of dust. Even though I had misted down the floor with water before it did help enough. Well I guess I'll have a good grip on the paddle now as it looked like 40 grit sand papar this morning and I won't even go there with the varnish.
Some days it just doesn't pay. Tonights agenda, I guess we'll start all over. sand , sand , sand, sand and more sanding.
