Chip,
thanks for the suggestion. How exactly does that help the joint to be stronger? Should I leave more space for the glue and not clamp the joint so tight? Im thinking that might be the problem because there was not alot of glue left on the face of the joint. Ive been working hard to get the joint surfaces very flat thinking this was the key but I wonder if I did not allow enough glue to remain in the joint. I will give your suggestion a try tonight along with not clamping the joint so tightly while it dries.
