pygmy plans

While I intend to build a couple of clc boats for my wife and daughter, I looked at the pygmy site to check out and compare boats.I noticed that plans for the Artic Tern and the coho arent available.Is everyone building from kits or can you get plans elsewhere.What would the differences in the Clc 17 and Arctic Tern be in stability and handling.
