I know what you mean! On the second layer of cloth I got tons of fibers unravelling from the edge. I took a cabinet scraper and cleaned it up. The spots that were scraped looked very white but almost completely disappeared on the next coat of epoxy. I now have some areas that are smooth as glass and others that clearly show unfilled weave. My plan now is to let it cure while I am away for a few days then to do a slightly heavier fill coat on the areas in need. Then some sanding to even things out and see where I stand. Does that sound reasonable to you?
