hi rick;
lip thickness (height) should be 3/8"
height from top of deck to bottom of lip should be 5/8" or better.
lip width....o.k... if you are useing verticle strips for the coaming, thats 1/4" of width, the lip should be laminated 1/8"x3/8" strips, 4 to 6 layers. this gives you a total width of 3/4" to 1".
